The Sexier You Are, the Bitchier They’ll Become

I’m not sure what it is, ladies, but y’all have some serious hate for one another. Exhibit A from a study published in the research journal Aggressive Behavior:

When the subjects were exposed to a young conservatively dressed woman, they barely noticed her. But when the researchers’ confederate entered the room wearing revealing clothing, she drew intense hostility. The researchers rated the responses on a “bitchiness” scale.

Hardly surprising.

The article points out, however, that intrasex bitchiness is really a source of intersex relations. Again, hardly surprising. That said, boys take note. Next time your girlfriend casually calls another girl, familiar or otherwise, a skank, recognize your complicity.
