If this depresses you, take comfort in the fact that Aronofsky is currently in the process of directing a dark-fantasy pilot for HBO titled Hobgoblin. IMDB’s description “[Hobgoblin] centers on a group of magicians and con men who use their skills at deception to battle Hitler and his forces during WWII.” There’s nothing like scary WWII occult violence to pick me up after a hard day of smoking meth.
